Conexus Achieves ISO 27001:2013 Certification From SGS

PRINCETON, NJ – May 12, 2022 – Conexus Solutions, Inc. announced that it has achieved ISO 27001:2013 Certification from SGS NA on April 21, 2022.

Formal certification to an International Standard is a significant achievement for the company, according to Founder and CEO Akshay Kapadia. “This is a remarkable accomplishment for our organization that positions us for even greater growth and success,” said Kapadia. “I am grateful and enormously proud, and I thank everyone for their tireless effort and determined focus without which this would not have been possible.”

Conexus CIO Praveen Chandrasekhar led the certification project effort, assisted by both internal and external expertise. “Achieving certification to ISO 27001:2013 is a true testament to the fact that everyone in Conexus is united in the support of our Information Security Management System,” explained Chandrasekhar. “It speaks to our company culture that both values and understands quality, compliance, and control and all the benefits that come with it.”

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is an international standard that helps organizations manage the security of their information assets. The framework was published in 2013 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and belongs to the ISO 27000 family of standards. It is the only internationally recognized certifiable information security standard.

The company’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) is based on the ISO 27001:2013 framework and concentrates on the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of corporate data such as financial information, employee details, intellectual property, or information managed by third parties.
